The town of Torrelodones has held today the Local Security Board to coordinate the special security device for the Christmas holidays.
The meeting was co-chaired by the government’s deputy delegate, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, and Mayor Almudena Negro Konrad. Members of the Government Team, representatives of the Community of Madrid, Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection have also attended.
Thus, the operation will be composed of Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection personnel, deploying their presence on Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve. The objective is to guarantee security in those more crowded events on the agenda of celebrations such as the San Silvestre Torresana race or the traditional Cavalcade of Kings.
The subdelegate has congratulated those responsible for the good safety data of the municipality, which continue to improve.
In addition, the subdelegate has stressed the importance of the municipality continuing to make progress in its adherence to the VioGén system (Comprehensive Monitoring System in Cases of Gender Violence), reinforcing its commitment to the protection and monitoring of women victims.

After the meeting, Pilar Trinidad has joined the reading of the manifesto and tribute ceremony programmed by the City of Torrelodones on the occasion of the commemoration of November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
