The Council of Ministers has approved a Royal Decree regulating the granting of almost 8.4 million euros to the Community of Madrid in a direct grant by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda to finance the rehousing of the Cañada Real.
Specifically, 8,375,000 euros are granted under the protocol of action signed last April between the Government, the regional executive and the municipalities of Madrid and Rivas Vaciamadrid, which will allow more than 1,600 people to be rehoused.
The Ministry granted aid of the same amount in the years 2023 and 2024, amounting to € 25,125,000 the aid granted by the Government for these relocations.
