Four works of Secondary Education Institutes (IES) of the Community of Madrid have been distinguished in the awards ‘Living, Feeling and Counting Democracy’ granted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
It is the work of the IES Las Musas Team (Madrid), which has obtained the 1st Prize in Plastic Creation; of the couple formed by Joel Couple and Álvaro Verdugo, of I IES Ciudad de los Poetas (Madrid) 2nd prize in Viodeogame; of the one elaborated by Olivia Bouzas and Pedro Herranz, of IES Las Musas (Madrid) 2nd Prize (ex aequo) in Essay and Research; and of the 2nd prize of Jara Martínez and Daniel Villagómez, Catalán.
The school competition ‘Living, Feeling and Telling Democracy: Spain in freedom. 50 años’ is an initiative aimed at promoting the reflection and creativity of students around democratic values and the meaning of freedom. It is part of the commemoration of half a century of democracy in Spain and has counted on the participation of 110 projects presented by educational centers of the different autonomous communities and abroad.
