The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, has co-chaired the Local Security Board of Arganda del Rey with its mayor, Alberto Escribano García, in which the security and emergency plan for the Patron Festivities of the Virgen de la Soledad has been supervised.
During the Board, attendees have reviewed the device scheduled for the festivities that will take place from September 7 to 15. Among other measures, the presence of members of the Civil Guard and the Local Police will be increased, a body that has recently been strengthened with the entry of 15 new officers into the local workforce. In addition, access controls will be activated in the areas with greater public influx such as the fairground or the bullring.
Likewise, the prevention devices and protocols of action for bullfighting festivities (bulls, capeas, novilladas and contest of trimmers) have been supervised, one of the most popular shows in the municipality and for which the patron festivities of Arganda del Rey are known at the national level. These devices will have the coordinated participation of the different security bodies and forces, Civil Protection, emergency technicians and health personnel.
The Board, held in the premises of the Local Police of Arganda del Rey, was attended by members of the municipal government team and representatives of the Community of Madrid, the Local Police and the Civil Guard.
