- The Council of Ministers authorizes, at the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, the allocation of 923 million euros to the autonomous communities.
- Of these, the Executive will distribute more than 867 million for the training of employed and unemployed workers, of which 108,727,536 euros correspond to the Community of Madrid.
- And the other 31 million are for projects with SMEs and micro-SMEs, of which 3,027,729 euros is allocated to the Community of Madrid.

The Government has authorized this Tuesday in the Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, to allocate 111,755,265 euros to the Community of Madrid to continue promoting the new Vocational Training system.
The total investment approved amounts to 923 million euros. In particular, the Government has agreed to give the green light to three important elements: two autonomous distributions and a State call, which will allow the qualification and requalification of employed and unemployed workers, as well as continue to develop training in line with the needs of the productive sectors.
On the one hand, the concession of 867,284,490 euros has been authorized for training actions of working people, of which more than 696.5 million will go to training offer for unemployed workers and more than 145.9 will be for training aimed at employed workers. From this item, 108,727,536 euros correspond to the Community of Madrid.
The allocation of 31,296,070 euros between the autonomous communities has also been approved, of which 3,027,729 euros for the Community of Madrid, to implement VET projects between SMEs and microSMEs, for the ‘skills’ championships, for the mobility of students and people in training, for the stays of teachers and trainers in companies, VET centers, and innovation projects, and for training and training stays.
In addition, the green light has been given to a broad call of a state nature for microformations of degrees A (short duration formations), in line with the demands of the productive sectors that participate in the different hubs and PERTEs.
