The evolution of security data, especially regarding home thefts, during the first months of the year has centered the extraordinary Local Security Board convened today in the City of Galapagar.
Co-chaired by the delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, and the mayor of the municipality, Carla Greciano Barrado, has counted on the presence of the Civil Guard, the Local Police, a representative of the Community of Madrid and Civil Protection.
Francisco Martín Aguirre has highlighted that the crime rate of the municipality remains below the average of the Community of Madrid as well as the increase in police effectiveness, with an increase in clarified criminal offenses and the rate of detained and investigated.
She also reiterated the importance of considering the incorporation of the Galapagar Local Police into the VioGén system to improve the protection of victims of gender violence.
