- The subdelegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, has co-chaired the Local Security Board of the municipality together with the mayor of the town, Dolores Vargas
The City Council of Collado Villalba has held today its Local Security Board in which the security device for the patron saint’s parties in honor of San Antonio has been reviewed, which will be held in the town from June 11 to 15.
The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, has co-chaired the meeting together with the mayor of the town, Dolores Vargas, which has also been attended by representatives of the Civil Guard, the Local Police, Civil Protection, the Community of Madrid and the government team of the Consistory.
The Board has highlighted the police reinforcement both of the Civil Guard units —of the Citizen Security Unit and of the Reinforcement and Control Patrols— and of the Local Police. In particular, the presence of local agents will grow by 16% compared to the previous year.
The Government ' s deputy delegate stressed the importance of drawing up the security plans for the various events and thanked the Council for having sent them to the delegation in advance for consideration.
Security data
It has also taken the opportunity to point out the positive evolution of security data in the municipality, which records a significant decrease of 15% so far this year in criminal offenses and 26% in crimes against heritage. This is proof of the “great work” done by the State Security Forces and Corps and the good coordination that exists between the Civil Guard and the Local Police.
