The Subdelegate of the Government to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board of Aranjuez with the mayor of the municipality, Miguel Gómez. The meeting addressed the special security device planned on the occasion of the celebration of the Festivities of San Fernando 2025, one of the most outstanding dates of the festive calendar of the south of the Community of Madrid.
The plan envisages a significant reinforcement of the police presence, especially during the busiest days of the weekend. On the part of the National Police, the deployment will include an increase in troops, as well as special units such as the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR) and mobile brigades.
The meeting, held at the Joint Security Center of Aranjuez, was attended by representatives of the National Police, Civil Guard, Local Police, Community of Madrid and Civil Protection.
In addition, the security data of the municipality have been reviewed, whose crime rate remains below the average of the Community of Madrid despite the increase they have recorded in recent months, among others, in crimes related to cybercrime.
For his part, the mayor has taken advantage of the presence of the subdelegate of the Government and the representatives of the Security Forces and Corps, to thank the excellent work carried out during the blackout on April 28 and highlighting both the “very generous” deployment and the effective coordination implemented from the first moment of the incident.
