- This reinforcement action contemplates the imminent incorporation of 55 troops in a circumstantial manner and for at least 18 months.
- For the structural response of the service, new officials will be assigned to the Immigration Offices dependent on the Government Delegation in the Community of Madrid.
- Madrid has three Immigration offices: two in Madrid (in Calle García de Paredes, 65 —only Registro General and delivery of duplicates—, and in Calle Silva, 19), and one in Leganés (Calle San Nicasio, 31).
The Delegation of the Government of Madrid will incorporate in its three offices of foreigners 55 personnel to reinforce the possible workload that the Offices will assume as a result of the entry into force of the new Regulation of Foreigners.
The Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, in coordination with the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, has activated a comprehensive response.
This imminent incorporation will be for an initial period of up to 18 months extendable for those 55 personnel in the offices of Immigration of the Community of Madrid, for that greater increase of applications in the first months of validity of the novelties introduced by the Regulation.
It is expected that the new officials of the C1 and C2 groups that will be incorporated into the Government ' s delegations and sub-delegations in the coming months will also be assigned to the Foreigners ' Offices in all provinces.
Organizational measures
Along with the cyclical and structural reinforcement of the staff, the integral response will include organizational measures among which the relocation of management highlights, facilitating that, from reinforced offices such as those in Madrid, applications can also be processed presented in any of the remaining offices if their workload so requires.
