The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has listed for 578,381 euros, including VAT, a works contract for the rehabilitation of the viaduct located at kilometer 42.5 of the AP-6 motorway, in the municipality of Guadarrama, province of Madrid. Soon, the announcement will be published in the Official State Gazette BOE.
This viaduct serves as a passage to the N-6 road in a northern direction towards Alpedrete and in a southeastern direction towards Collado Villalba. It has a total length of 91.60 meters, and is composed of 4 vanes, with a length of 20.10 meters at the ends and 25.70 meters at the centers. In plan, the axis of the viaduct is offset from the trunk of the AP-6 motorway.
The purpose of the contract is to repair the damage presented by this structure and to correct the pathologies detected. To this end, the following actions have been proposed:
- Reinforcement, with carbon fiber, of the batteries and of the wafers. The reinforcement of the stacks with this material will be done on the stems (the column or vertical beam) and on the capitals (the top of the stack).
- Complete waterproofing of the board and the existing box on the sides of it.
