The delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, has co-chaired today together with the mayor of Rivas, Aída Castillejo, the Local Security Board of the municipality. The Councilor for Citizen Security and Mobility, Juan José González Blas, as well as senior officials of the State Security Forces and Bodies have participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the security device has been revised both for the PCE party, which takes place this weekend, and for the celebration of the Pirata Madrid Festival, on October 4 and 5, where a large influx of people is expected.
Crime balance
The Local Security Board has also served to review the crime data of the municipality. The crime rate of the last 12 months improved by 1.8 points over that of 2023.
The government delegate congratulated the agents for these data and the good coordination they maintain and wanted to thank the council for its commitment to the VioGén system, which has been in place in the municipality for some time.
