The delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, has held an “important” meeting today with the current head of the 1st Zone of the Civil Guard –Community of Madrid–, General José Antonio Berrocal Anaya, and who will be, since September 4, his replacement at the head of this demarcation, General Fernando Mora More.
General Berrocal, who was appointed to the position in the BOE on March 19, 2018, has thanked him for his “commitment and work” at the head of the Civil Guard in the Community of Madrid, and his successor has conveyed to him his best wishes and “all the collaboration” of the Government Delegation for the fulfillment of his mandate.
General Mora was appointed to command the 1st Zone of the Civil Guard, Community of Madrid (Madrid), by Order INT/899/2024, of August 16, published in the BOE of August 27, with effect of September 4, 2024.
With them he has been able to review the “favorable evolution” of the crime data registered in his area of competence and, in this regard, he has announced that “soon” he will be in a position to communicate “good news” regarding security in the Community of Madrid that demonstrate “the commitment of the Government of Spain” with the region in this matter.
