The subdelegate of the Government in Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, chaired this morning the sectoral meeting with associations and entities specialized in the field of Foreigners.
The meeting began with a greeting from the government delegate, Francisco Martín, who recalled that this meeting represents the fulfillment of the commitment of sectoral meetings made during the first Working Group on Social Inclusion held in the Delegation in May.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Government Delegation, Pablo Izquierdo, has highlighted the actions of the Delegation to promote the integration and regularization of the administrative situation of foreign people.
Next, María Eugenia Alcántara, director of the Functional Area of Work, Migration and Social Security of the Delegation, spoke before the entities and associations convened forwarded to the Delegation their suggestions on the competences in processing procedures, as well as proposals for the reform of the regulation on foreigners.
Among the attendees were representatives of the Vida Foundation, Green Ecological Group, Reti Spain, Caritas, Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid CEAR, ACCEM Madrid, Refuge by Law, CCOO, Roots Foundation, and spokespersons for the Refugee Persons Program of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.
