Madrid, June 24, 2024. The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will carry out rehabilitation works of the firm in the A-6 in the Community of Madrid. This action is part of the usual maintenance work that is carried out periodically, in order to maintain the road in adequate conditions of safety and comfort.
Therefore, and to guarantee the safety of workers and users, there will be the total cut of the service road of the A-6, with direction A Coruña between the km 25,200 and 26,200, from 23:00 to 05:30 hours, starting tonight and ending next Friday, June 28, at 05:30 h. Traffic will be restored by the weekend.
An alternative detour will be established by the C/ Martín Iriarte and Avda. from the Peñascales de Las Matas to access the A-6 in direction A Coruña.
For the duration of the detours, maximum caution and attention is requested to the signage of works, together with strict compliance with the recommendations of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), visible on its luminous signs of variable signage.
Detailed information on the traffic situation on the affected roads can be obtained in a timely manner, both in the radio bulletins and on the DGT website.
The planning of the work may be altered in case of adverse weather conditions.
