- It is proposed to install 5,096 meters of acoustic screens distributed in several areas, between the km 23,300 and 35,300.
- Soon it will be submitted to the public information procedure, which involves the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has provisionally approved the project of delineation for actions framed in the Plan of Action against Noise (PAR) of phase II on the A-1 motorway, between km 23,300 and 35,300, in the Community of Madrid. It will soon be submitted to the public information procedure, which involves the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The object of the action, which has an investment of 16.1 million euros (VAT included), is the installation 5,096 m of sound-absorbing acoustic screens distributed in four zones delimited by the following kilometer points:
- From km 23.7 to 25.15
- From km 25.35 to 26.6
- From km 27,75 to 29,5
- From km 34.2 to 35.3
The proposed screens have an insulation greater than 24dB and an absorption greater than 11dB, with 100mm of total thickness.
With regard to the structural typology adopted for the design of these acoustic protections, preference has been given to the use of deep foundations by piles of diameter 0.6 m with variable length between 10 m and 11 m depending on the height of the screen and the type of terrain.
In general, the single pile solution is used except for the barriers on existing structures, which are of maximum height 2m, in which either it is anchored to the existing structure itself or a direct foundation is made so as not to affect it.
