The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has approved the public information file and definitively the project for actions of phase II of the Action Plan Against Noise on the A-6 motorway, in the stretch between kilometers 28 and 34,100 as it passes through the municipalities of Torrelodones and Galapagar, in the Community of Madrid.
The basic budget for the tender of the actions amounts to 8.28 million euros (VAT included). Soon, the corresponding announcement will be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
Next, we will continue with the drafting of the construction project where this action will be defined with the degree of detail necessary to make its construction and operation feasible, as established in Law 37/2015, of September 29, on roads. Once this project is approved, the works will be tendered.
Jobs to do
The performances will consist mainly of the installation of 2,810 m of acoustic screens of heights between 1.5 and 5 m and distributed over three zones, located between the following kilometer points:
28,510 and 30,250.
30,250 and 32,150.
33,200 and 34,100.
The installation of several types of screens has been contemplated: steel, methacrylate, or vegetable panels; depending on the needs and acoustic characteristics of the area.
Thus, once the planned actions are undertaken, the noise pollution in the areas of action will be reduced, thus improving the environmental integration of the motorway and with it the quality of life of the inhabitants in the areas close to it.
The intervention is included in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan that plans to invest up to 302 million euros (VAT not included) of the European funds NextGeneration to carry out sustainability, energy efficiency and action against noise actions in the State Road Network.
