The government delegate to the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, met this morning, at the headquarters of the Delegation, with the mayor of Ciempozuelos, Raquel Jimeno, accompanied by the first deputy mayor, Luís Pueyo.
The meeting addressed issues of municipal management that are also within the competence or interest of the Government Delegation, such as citizen security or the possibility of joining the VioGén System raised by the delegate to Jimeno.
The head of the City Council explained the main priorities in the field of the General Administration of the State for the locality such as improving accessibility in the train station, the change of the lighting to LED, for which they are pending the granting of a subsidy or the aid granted after the DANA, in all of them, the delegate has committed to be interested in the situation and request information of all these projects.
In the economic field, the mayor has transferred to the delegate the great achievement obtained by the consistory in the previous legislature, managing to leave the municipal debt to zero
