The government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, met this morning, at the headquarters of the Delegation, with Regina Domínguez Cobos, vice-president of the Association of Companies of the Freight Forwarders Sector of Madrid (Ateia Madrid), and with Laura Moreira, director of the association. The Director of the Functional Health Area of the Delegation, María José Gutiérrez, was also present at the meeting.
The Association of Freight Forwarders (ATEIA) is a business organization open to all freight forwarders operating in the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
Freight forwarders are companies specialized in organizing, on behalf of others, international transport of goods, receiving goods as consignors or handing them over to those who have to transport them and, where appropriate, carrying out the administrative, fiscal, customs and logistical procedures inherent to that type of transport or intermediating in its contracting.
