The government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, has held several meetings this week with access to the Port of Navacerrada as the central axis.
On the one hand, on Thursday, January 25, he traveled to the Port of Navacerrada to hold a meeting with the heads of the Association of Active Tourism and Ecotourism Companies of the Community of Madrid (AETAM).
After listening to the concerns expressed by the businessmen about the difficulties of access in times of maximum influx of visitors, as two weekends ago, the delegate stressed the need to guarantee in any case road and citizen safety as the main priority.
This same priority has been shared in the meeting held this Friday by Martín Aguirre with his counterpart in Castilla y León, Nicanor Sen, as this enclave of the Sierra de Guadarrama is a space shared by both autonomous communities.

It is in these last two points that the delegate of Madrid has stressed that collaboration with entrepreneurs is necessary, on the one hand, with a correct certification of their workers and, on the other, strengthening the use of collective transport.
In any case, Francisco Martín recalled that this issue must always be addressed by talking about the management of the whole space and that it is not possible to give preference to those who have committed an expense in private spaces by passing through a street and a public environment: “It goes against the rights of other citizens.
