Francisco Martín Aguirre, accompanied by the deputy delegate of the Government, Pilar Trinidad, has presided over its second meeting of the Commission of Assistance to the Government Delegate.
The Government delegate has begun the event by presenting the new team of the Delegation, consisting of the subdelegate, Secretary General Pablo Izquierdo and the Chief of Staff, Fernando Estarán, conveying to the attendees the willingness of all of them to work together and “continue materializing all our responsibilities.”
Completing the members of the delegation, the directors of the Functional Areas of Work and Immigration, María Eugenia Alcántara, and of Agriculture, María del Mar Pila, attended.

The call was attended by: the superior chief of the National Police, Manuel Soto Seoane; Major General José Antonio Berrocal Anaya, head of the 1st Zone of the Civil Guard; the delegate of Defense in the Community of Madrid, Colonel José Javier Fabón, and the provincial directors and representatives in Madrid of the following agencies: Provincial Labour Inspectorate, Delegation of Economy and Finance, Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), National Institute of Social Security (INSS), Public Service of State Employment (SEPE), State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT), National Institute of Statistics (INE), Wage Guarantee Fund (FOGASA), Social Institute of the Navy, Mutual General Office of Civil Servants of the State (MUADIF), Directorate of Traffic
Functions of the Commission
Law 40/2015 on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector provides that in the uniprovincial CCAA there is a Commission of Assistance to the delegate of the Government.
The functions of the Delegate Assistance Committee are: to coordinate the actions to be carried out at the level of the Community of Madrid, to standardize the development of public policies in the region through the establishment of common criteria and to advise the Government delegate in the elaboration of proposals for administrative simplification.
“The objective is to share the state of the situation, fixing the main challenges and difficulties,” said the delegate.
Speaking time and areas
The heads of National Police and Civil Guard have been responsible for starting the meeting with a review of the main devices, situations and events of recent months. Among them, the provisions of the Constitution of the Congress, the Jura of the Constitution of the Princess of Asturias, the Christmas campaign or the consequences of the DANA in the region stand out.
Likewise, the rest of the attendees have reviewed the main relevant topics within their areas.
For example, in terms of transport, Ángel Contreras, president of Adif, has named the connection between the High Speed lines, performances at the stations of Chamartín or Atocha, in the latter new works will soon begin, or the Proximity Plan, new stations of Parla Norte, La Tenería in Pinto… “A year of many projects awaits us. Our goal is social and territorial connection,” said the president of ADIF.
Gonzalo Pastor, on the part of RENFE, has also reviewed the issuance of free subscriptions by the Government, “on January 12 we have issued more than 190,000 free bonds for the use of Neighbourhoods and Half Distance”.
The data of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport have also been reviewed, highlighting the impact of the Spanish Presidency of the European Governing Council.
Other areas addressed have been the immigration policies, an area in which a balance has been made of the requests and procedures carried out; the Provincial Head of Traffic of Madrid has reviewed the procedures, control campaigns and also the balance of traffic victims; for his part, the assistants responsible for Provincial Labour Inspection, Delegation of Economy and Finance, Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), National Institute of Social Security (INSS), Public Service of State Employment (SEPE), National Institute of Tax Administration (ASTRO)
