The government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, accompanied the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, this morning at the inauguration of the new facilities of the Data Processing Center (CPD) of the Secretary of State for Security, which will support and support the computer architecture used by the Ministry of the Interior and its affiliated agencies.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Secretary of State for Security, Rafael Pérez; the president of the Society of Penitentiary Infrastructures and Equipment and State Security (SIEPSE), Mercedes Gallizo, and the head of the Special Security Unit of the Royal House, Francisco José Cabello, among other authorities.
The construction of these new facilities of the CPD of the ministry is one of the actions carried out within the framework of the Infrastructure Plan for State Security, approved in January 2019. The project was designed and implemented by SIEPSE.
With an investment of 14.5 million euros, the CPD has been built in a facility of the Technological Center for Security (CETSE) that the ministry has in El Pardo (Madrid).
