The municipalities affected by the DANA at the beginning of September in the Community of Madrid have been the last places to receive the visit of the staff of the Government Delegation that participates in the Plan "The Administration near you", which has been prioritized according to the difficult situation they are going through and to facilitate that they can make arrangements by electronic means and avoid displacements.
Among them, Navalagamella, Villamanta, Cadalso de los Cristal, Pelayos de la Presa, Quijorna and Aldea del Fresno, in which about 150 digital certificates have been issued. In some, in addition, more than one date has been scheduled, such as the case of Villamanta, which on October 24 will receive the third visit of the Plan.
Since the launch of the initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Territorial Policy, in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), the staff of the Government Delegation has made a total of 137 departures, attended by 1,793 citizens, and in which 1,432 digital certificates and 33 permanent keys have been made.
Administration near Ti
The main objective of the Plan “La Administración Cerca de Ti” is to publicize the services and benefits offered by the General Administration of the State to citizens of small towns throughout Spain, in particular those with less than 8000 inhabitants.
It is articulated through visits to the localities in which the attendees are made aware of issues of e-government and are explained what actions can be carried out electronically from home, avoiding unnecessary travel and resolving any doubts you may have.
In addition, the teams provide the citizen with the tool for identification before the administration, carrying out in situ digital certificates (from the National Currency and Stamp Factory) and permanent keys, which are in great demand.
Recently, elderly centres have also been included in the planning of visits, and have been very well received. The Government Delegation has already visited several centres in the capital of Madrid and has scheduled many more appointments for the month of October.
