The Government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, held a working meeting this morning with the head of the Citizen Security Unit of the Government Delegation, Police Commissioner José Luis Correas, with whom he addressed issues related to the general coordination of Citizen Security in the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
One of the tasks of the Citizen Security Unit of the Government Delegation is to receive communications on requests for meetings, rallies or demonstrations, in the exercise of the right of assembly. It is also in charge of coordinating the security devices of all kinds of major events, as well as sporting events declared ‘high-risk’ by the Anti-Violence in Sport Commission.
