The government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, participated this morning in the inauguration of the II Fair of the construction sector of Madrid (Fescomad), organized by the Construction Labor Foundation, together with its patrons: the Construction Company Association (AECOM), CC.OO. of the Madrid Habitat and UGT FICA Madrid.
In his speech, Francisco Martín praised the example of collaboration and joint work between employers and unions within the framework of the Construction Labor Foundation and highlighted the “dynamism and constant drive for improvement” that characterizes the construction sector. A sector that is also benefited by the reforms that the Government has been implementing over these years. “The digital transformation of the economy is here to stay and we cannot stay behind,” said the government delegate.
For this reason, events of this type are “more necessary than ever given the speed at which technology advances”, to contribute to creating quality jobs and in conditions of occupational health and safety,” concluded Francisco Martin.
The II Fair of the construction sector of Madrid (Fescomad), which is held during the days of today and tomorrow in the Facilities of the Labor Foundation, is conceived as a space for meeting, exchange and dissemination of knowledge within the Construction Sector, with the focus on aspects such as industrialization, sustainability and energy efficiency, professional training and security.
