The delegate of the Government in Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, met this morning with FERMAD Vive with you, the platform of Associations of Assistance to the Addicted Person and his Family in the Community of Madrid, which have as their axis the work in addictions and develop transversal projects from different perspectives such as prevention, training or socio-labor insertion.
The meeting, in which representatives of 14 of these associations met, addressed the residential resources, prevention, support, profiles, budgetary stability of the associations, participation, coordination, prisons, gambling registers, betting venues, vulnerability, among other matters.
These associations that work around addictions are organized in a network of three levels:
- The associations, the first level, that develop their own projects. Among them, Hallucinos Lasalle Association, of the neighborhood of San Fermín; Aspafades, of Carabanchel; Atiempo, of the neighborhood Fontarrón, in Vallecas; Cauces, which acts in Carabanchel and Usera; Colectivo San Blas; Fundación Atenea; Fundación Hay Salida, etc.
- FERMAD lives with you, a second level network, which is the platform of Associations to Help the Addicted Person and their Family in the Community of Madrid. He is in contact with the local administration and the Community of Madrid and develops his own projects of family care, volunteering and associative coordination.
- UNAD, which is the State network of associations working in addenda, which make up 207 entities and which has as interlocutors the State administration and the autonomous communities. It is coordinated with the National Drug Plan.
