The government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, visited this morning the Unified Security Center of the City of Alcorcón, accompanied by the mayor of the city, Natalia de Andrés, and by the spokeswoman of the municipal government team, Candelaria Testa.
Francisco Martín has toured the different units of the center, which integrates all the security and emergency services existing in the municipality of Alcorcón: National Police of Alcorcón, Municipal Police and Central Communications of the Municipal Police, Crisis Room, Civil Protection and Fire Service. This integration allows an improvement in the coordination between the different security bodies, favoring the joint use of the facilities, with the objective of a better use of the available resources.
In statements to the media, the government delegate stressed that this installation is “an example and a reference” for the result it implies. “Alcorcón is a city with a crime rate below the average crime rate of the Community of Madrid and equivalent to that of other cities such as Las Rozas or Alcobendas.” “And both the Local Police and the National Police and the other units work day by day, without rest, to make security a fact,” concluded the government delegate.
