The Government delegate to the Community of Madrid, Mercedes González, attends this Saturday the six events convened in the capital in memory of the victims of the attacks of March 11, 2004, coinciding with the 19th anniversary of that terrorist massacre. 11-M is also the European Day of the Victims of Terrorism, as established by the European Parliament.
- 10:00 h. Solemn ceremony at the front door of the Royal Post Office, headquarters of the Presidency of the Community of Madrid, convened by the regional government. (Puerta del Sol, 7)
- 11:00 h. Minute of silence and floral offering at the Atocha-Cerca station, organized by the 11-M Affected Terrorism Association, CCOO Madrid, UGT Madrid and the Union of Actors and Actresses.
- 12:00 h. Tribute of the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT) on the European Day of the Victims of Terrorism. Forest of Remembrance (El Retiro Park).
- 13:30 h. In Retiro Sur, next to the street Téllez number 30.
- 18:00 h. In Santa Eugenia, in front of the station and next to the sculpture “Truncated Illusion”
- 19:00 h. In El Pozo, in front of the monument of the station.
