According to the data provided by the Traffic Headquarters of La Rioja, in the period between July 1 and August 31, in the Rioja races there were a total of 53 accidents with victims, resulting in a total of two deaths, eleven serious injuries and 59 minor injuries. Thus, the number of serious injuries has been reduced (-7) and the number of minor injuries has increased (+11), compared to summer 2024. As for the mortal victims, there has been a decrease (-3), compared to the year 2019 - maximum of the last decade.

The two fatalities occur in sinister roads through the exit of the road with fall and overturning of the vehicle.
Excesses of speed have been the offence committed to a greater extent in accidents involving victims, with 37% of the total, followed by distractions, with 20.75%, and partial invasion of the opposite direction, with 9.43%.
Finally, Tuesday was the day with the most accidents, with 16.98% of the victims. With regard to the time slots, the period between 6 and 12 hours has recorded a greater accident, 37.73% of the victims, followed by the interval between 12 and 18 hours, with 35.84%.
