The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out structural rehabilitation work on the N-232 road between km 372 to 386 and km 449,500 to 459, in the following sections: Variants of Ausejo, Casalarreina and Tirgo, in La Rioja, which have a global budget of 7.3 million euros (VAT included).
In this context, from 8:00 a.m. next Monday, March 31, it will begin the repair of the pavement of the links located at km 375 and 380, at the height of Ausejo.
Therefore, and to ensure the safety of workers and users, there will be the alternative cutting of the two links mentioned:
- First of all, the branches of the link of km 380 will be cut, allowing only the movements between roundabouts and opening to the traffic each of the branches as they are finished rehabilitating.
- Secondly, the branches of the link located at km 375 will be cut, following the same procedure.
To ensure the fluidity of traffic, during this affectation one of the two links will always be available fully open, using the N-232a road to reach any of them. Movements between roundabouts of both links will always be allowed.
The cuts that will be made in the branches of the links will, predictably, last between 4 and 6 days for each link. Therefore, it is estimated that there may be conditions until Friday, April 11 included.
The working hours will be from 8:00 to 20:00 hours approximately, leaving the traffic returned at the end of the working day.

During these affectations, the works of repair of the asphalt pavement of the branches of the links will be carried out, as well as of the glorietas themselves that unite them.
These branches are formed by bituminous hot mixtures that, due to their age and the traffic that passes through them, have caused their degradation, being necessary to proceed to milling and replace them.
