Main Inspection
A main inspection will be carried out and the inventory of all those structures with lights greater than or equal to 3 meters will be updated, differentiating the following categories:Large bridges, provided that they respond to at least one of the following characteristics:
- Have a maximum light of vain greater than 40 m.

- The total length should be greater than 100 m.
- Bridge: with a maximum light greater than 10 m.
- Pontoon: Maximum light comprised between 3 m and 10 m.
Detailed Main Inspection
In large structures with a pile height of more than 25 m and a span of more than 40 m, a detailed main inspection with drones will be carried out, in accordance with the legislation in force in this field. In structures with a maximum pile height greater than 15 m, a drone inspection may be carried out depending on their characteristics, state of conservation and budgetary availability. As a result of this inspection, in addition to the main inspection sheet, a report will be issued with the results of the inspection.
In large structures with drawer-type boards that are visible internally, a detailed main inspection of their interior will also be carried out, when the lights are greater than 50 m for mixed bridges, and 90 m for concrete bridges, or in all cases in which the structure has an external prestressing. As a result of this inspection, in addition to the main inspection sheet, a report will be issued with the results of the inspection.
Main underwater inspections will be carried out on those structures that, after analysis of the inventory and state of conservation, present a greater vulnerability to undermining and are in channels that present significant maximum flow values. As a result of this inspection, in addition to the main inspection sheet, a report will be issued with the results of the inspection.
Special Inspection
Special inspections will be carried out on those structures that require it due to their state of conservation. To this end, the adjudicator, through the Director of the Contract, will propose, for each of the provinces, the structures in which it is necessary to carry out a special inspection. The proposal will be based both on the information received from the Road Units and on the prioritized analysis of the main inspections based on those with the most unfavorable state index, or deteriorations that may affect the road.
Special inspections will be carried out on all structures with tyrant typology and on all large structures with metal lattice board.
