The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has today put into service, after the completion of the works, the remodeling of the Lodosa link at km 164,200 of the AP-68 motorway, located in the municipal terms of Lodosa (Navarra) and Ausejo (La Rioja). The budget for the works has amounted to 4.1 million euros (VAT included).
The objective of the works has been to complete the semi-link between the AP-68 motorway and the NA-123 road, facilitating the incorporation into the motorway of the vehicles that circulate in the direction of Bilbao, from the NA-123, mainly coming from the towns of Sartagudo and Lodosa, as well as the exit of the motorway direction Zaragoza towards the LR-123, to the towns of Pradejón and El Villar de Arnedo.
In its previous configuration, the Lodosa link only allowed movements in the direction of Zaragoza, so that the access of the surrounding populations to the AP-68 motorway in the direction of Logroño/Bilbao, was carried out through the link of Agoncillo, located at a distance of 20 km.
With the completed works, the accessibility to the AP-68 is improved as well as the functionality and mobility of the road corridor formed by the AP-68 motorway and the N-232 road.
