This morning, in the premises of the 10th Zone of the Civil Guard in La Rioja, the delegate of the Government, Beatriz Arraiz, accompanied by the Colonel Chief Enrique Moure, attended the welcome ceremony of the 99 new agents destined for the province, who have wished them luck and good stay in their respective destinations.
The incorporation of these new agents reinforces the Citizen Security units distributed throughout the province of La Rioja, mainly the Main Post of Calsalvo, improving the quality of the service that the Armed Institute provides to citizens in this Autonomous Community.
They have been assigned to 24 of the 25 posts of the three territorial companies of the Civil Guard in La Rioja, which are responsible for providing security to 173 of the 174 municipalities of La Rioja (all of La Rioja less Logroño).
- 1st Company of Haro: 16 agents
- 2nd Company of Logroño: 26 agents
- 3rd Company of Calsalvo: 56 agents
- Operational Center of Services: 1 agent.
69.6% of the new agents are men and 30.3% women, so the percentage of women currently assigned in the 10th Zone of the Civil Guard in La Rioja reaches 14.50% of the staff. With this addition, there will be a total of 862 Civil Guard troops in the 10th Zone and in the Traffic sector - 737 men and 125 women.
