The delegate of the Government of Spain in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, and the mayor of Lardero, Isabel Barceló Martínez, presided this morning the meeting of the Local Security Board of the municipality held in the City Hall, in which it has been confirmed that the level of security of the town has increased this year.
In this way, Lardero concluded November with a crime rate, corresponding to the number of known criminal offenses per thousand inhabitants, of 24.7, lower than that obtained at the end of 2022, which was 34.3.
This November figure is below the La Rioja average of 37.9 and 50.3 in Spain.
The number of known criminal offenses from January to November of this year -274- is higher than the same period of 2022 -350. As for the percentage of clarification of crimes by the Civil Guard, the data are similar during the first eleven months of the year, increasing from 37.1% to 38.3%.
When analyzing the known crimes, the decrease in all of them is generalized, highlighting cybercrime that has gone from 80 complaints in 2022 to 34 in 2023, or crimes of general damage, from 31 to 23.
Regarding the talks included in the School Coexistence Plan, the Civil Guard and the Unit for the Coordination of Violence against Women gave 14 talks at the IES La Trabajo in the 2022-2023 academic year: 10 on the risks of the Internet, two on harassment and hate crimes and two on domestic and gender violence. In total, 821 members of the educational community have attended.
On the other hand, it has been mentioned that the helicopter of the Civil Guard will be in charge of moving the Three Kings for the enjoyment of the children of the town.
Coordination and collaboration against male violence
In relation to the data provided by the VioGén System and according to the figures this morning, in Lardero there are 25 active cases that require police protection. Of these, 8 present an unappreciated risk level, 10 low, 6 medium, 1 high risk and none extreme.
