The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has litigated for 388,214.13 euros (VAT included) the contract of works for the conditioning and humanization of the stretch of road between the southern roundabout of the link of the N-232 road, at kilometer 458, and the roundabout located in Calle San Sebastián in the town of Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón, in the province of La Rioja. The objective of the action is to fully integrate the aforementioned section as an urban road, through the creation of sidewalks with wooded itineraries and LED lighting, as well as measures aimed at reducing traffic speed. The project will be funded from European funds under the Voyage Humanisation Programme of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), which plans to invest EUR 105 million to promote a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible urban environment.
