The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), within the framework of the works of the “A-68 Motorway. Stretch: Arrúbal-Navarrete” of La Rioja, puts into service the Avenue of the Knights Templar, in Villamediana de Iregua.
The government delegate in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, visited this morning this new advance in the works of execution of the Southern Round, which “become the largest investment in roads in the recent history of La Rioja by reaching 133 million euros and we can confirm that they are going at a good pace”.
Due to work needs, it has been necessary to cut off traffic on the Knights Templar Avenue to demolish the upper passage existing on the AP-68 highway because it does not conform to the new layout projected in this area.
The project includes the implementation of a new structure on the AP-68 motorway, P.S. 17.3, of 60 m in length (2 holes of 30 m+30 m) and the suitability of the route of the vial, before and after the upper passage, so that it fits correctly both in plan and in elevation.
The width of the board is 8.40 m, formed by a driveway with a width of 7’00 m, and hooks on both sides for anchorage of the metal pretiles of 0’70 m width.
The construction of this section that opens to traffic has required the execution of all the works corresponding to: land movement, structure, diversion of affected services, longitudinal and transversal drainage and signage and marking. The budget for these actions has amounted to 0.60 million euros. The length of the stretch is 0.20 km.
The section of the Avda is shown in the attached plane. of the Knights Templar that is put into service.
