The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), as published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and includes the State Contracting Platform, has formalized the services contract for the drafting of the “Feasibility study of the improvement of the railway corridor between Logroño and Miranda de Ebro”, awarded to the company: WSP SPAIN APIA, S.A.U., for the amount of 464,640 euros (VAT included) and an execution period of 20 months.
The objective of the study is to evaluate the technical and socioeconomic feasibility of the improvement of this railway corridor and for this, a sufficient number of routing alternatives will be analyzed, with the degree of definition and precision according to this type of studies, which will subsequently be compared under technical, economic, environmental and operational considerations, resulting in said comparison, a selected or optimal alternative.
The feasibility study will contain a demand study developed specifically for this action, as well as a socio-economic profitability study.
