The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has awarded a contract of services for the drafting of the project of layout and construction of “Variant of Fuenmayor. N-232, de Vinaròz a Santander, km 418,0 a 424,6”, en La Rioja.
The estimated budget for the action amounts to 50 million euros.
The project aims to implement the variant of the N-232 road as it passes through Fuenmayor. The variant will capture long- and medium-distance traffic, shortening transit times with respect to the crossing. In addition, it will mean an increase in road safety and an environmental improvement for the municipality, reducing traffic on the crossing, and with it noise and pollution.
This action is in addition to the actions promoted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda on the N-232 road as it passes through La Rioja, among which the variant of Briones or El Villar de Arnedo stands out.
