The IES Clara Hammerl of Port de Pollença hosts the program of activities for reading animation in Secondary Schools

The writer Mercè Climent i Payà will hold a literary meeting with the students of the center

The Ministry of Culture and Sport, through the General Directorate of Books, Comics and Reading, is launching a new edition of the programme of literary activities at publicly owned secondary schools.

With more than two decades of experience, this program of reading animation offers students the opportunity to get to know the work of narrators, poets, playwrights, illustrators or translators, and it is an opportunity for participating authors to take a pulse of the interests of young readers.

The literary meeting at the IES Clara Hammerl in Port de Pollença, will be on October 27 with the writer Mercè Climent i Payà: the author will present her work, talk about her creative process and maintain an open dialogue with the students.

The Ministry of Culture and Sport has prioritized those institutes that participate for the first time in the program or that did not have activity the previous year.
