The Government approves the granting of regional incentives for an investment project in the Balearic Islands for a total of 4.3 million euros
The Executive, through the Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs, has approved the granting of regional incentives to a total of four projects in three autonomous communities. En concreto, estas ayudas se destinan a Castilla-La Mancha, Canarias e Illes Balears. In the latter case, the beneficiary project will be the modernization of a hotel establishment in Sant Antoni de Portmany, on the island of Ibiza.
The project has a total investment of 24,128,383 euros, with a subsidy of 4,343,108.94 euros. Thanks to this project, 75 new jobs will be created and five more jobs will be maintained.
The total amount of projects benefiting from regional incentives for the three communities is 75,912,198 euros, with grants of 11,568,936.35 euros. These sums will contribute to the creation of at least 85 jobs and the maintenance of hundreds of them.
This aid contributes to the inter-territorial economic balance and to inclusive and sustainable economic growth by financing productive investment projects, job generators, technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable.
This bet promotes economic activity in the regions with a lower level of development and contributes to closing the gap in terms of per capita income with the rest of the regions, not only of Spain but also of the European Union.
