Pedro Blanco weaves collaboration networks with the association O Faiado da Memoria and with representatives of the audivisual committed to historical memory

The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, received on Tuesday Miguel Delgado, director of the film ‘San Simón’; Antonio Caeiro, director of the documentary ‘Isolates’, and Margarita Teijeiro, representative of the Vilagarciana association for the historical memory O Faiado da Memoria. Pedro Blanco deepened his collaboration with them to promote democratic memory and dignify the victims of the war and the Franco dictatorship in Galicia, with special attention to the case of San Simón Island, “a concentration camp where hundreds of Galicians and Galicians were imprisoned under the brutal repression of the regime.”

The delegate highlighted his work, both at an associative and audiovisual level, and stressed the importance of initiatives such as his to maintain the freedoms and good democratic health of Galicia and the whole of Spain, as well as to repair the pain of the victims and their families.
