The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, condemned the last six crimes of gender violence recognized by the Ministry of Equality.
During the event, the delegate highlighted the firm institutional commitment to eradicate any type of violence against women. “We will not stop until this structural violence is over. The government is with all of you,” said the delegate, referring to 016, the free and confidential number that is available 24 hours a day.
The victims are Zunilda, 43 years old, murdered by her partner; Marisa, 61 years old from Madrid; Alejandra, from Valencia, who was murdered along with her two-year-old son; Ramy, 41 years old and of Venezuelan origin, neighbor of Alcalá de Henares; Carmen, 60 years old, native of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Josefina, 63 years old, from Almería.
