The sub-delegate in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, today stressed the Government’s support for SMEs to reinforce innovation and guarantee territorial cohesion, on the occasion of her intervention in the ceremony of the award ‘Sme of the Year’ of Lugo 2025 organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Lugo together with the Chamber of Commerce of Spain and Banco Santander, with the collaboration of El Progreso.
Isabel Rodríguez noted the commitment of the Government of Spain to entrepreneurial activity, quality employment, innovation, digitalization, environmental sustainability and energy transition.
The subdelegate valued the recognition “to the work of the people who implement and promote business projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the economy and generate employment for Lucan families.”
In addition, he noted that “small and medium-sized enterprises are the essence of the productive fabric and represent the best medicine to ensure territorial cohesion and lay the foundations for future prosperity.”
In this regard, Isabel Rodríguez reiterated the willingness of the Government Subdelegation to collaborate in order to continue contributing to the economic development and well-being of Lucense society.
