The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, presided today in the Delegation the act of condemnation of the male crime, of vicarious violence, happened in Bilbao, where a father murdered his minor daughter and left his partner injured, before committing suicide.
The case comes from being declared as male violence by the Ministry of Equality. Pedro Blanco was accompanied by the deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas.
"We will work tirelessly so that the cruellest expression of male violence will not be repeated again," the delegate stressed, condemning this murder.
Pedro Blanco expressed his solidarity with the victim’s family and acquaintances and reiterated the Government’s commitment to continue working hand in hand with the other administrations and with society in eliminating all violence against women, as well as in promoting equality. After the reading, a minute’s silence was kept.
