The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, closed the event of the Inspiring Girls Foundation that was held this afternoon at the Port Authority, in the city of A Coruña.
Rivas took the opportunity to thank the work of the foundation, which connects girls with women referents who share their experiences through various formative and inspiring talks. “Projects like these are a fundamental pillar for advancing a fairer, freer and truly egalitarian society,” said the deputy delegate.
In addition, he focused on continuing to work and pursuing that “clear and powerful purpose: to tear down the glass ceilings that persist in our social and professional structures.”
In that sense, he highlighted the Government’s commitment to “build a world of opportunities, promoting equality policies with decision and courage,” he added.
