The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, today highlighted the importance of publicizing the work of the Civil Guard during an exhibition of units organized in the command for more than 400 Infant and Primary school students of the province.
The day was held on the occasion of the Open Administration Week, which is carried out by the Government of Spain to disseminate the services of the State among citizens throughout the territory.
The students were able to see first-hand the resources of the Lucense Command such as the Citizen Security post, the subsector of the Traffic Group, the Seprona, the Pegaso Team, the Judicial Police Team, Usecic and OMAP of Lugo, the cellular van, the Maritime Service and the Fiscal Service.
Also participating in the exhibition were media employed in Galicia such as the Mountain Service, the Underwater Activities Group, the Explosive Deactivation Service and the Cinolóxico Service, which has canine units for the search of people.
The subdelegate showed her desire to continue promoting initiatives such as this, which allow the Security Forces and Corps to be brought closer to the people, reinforce the work of prevention and show their contribution to the good development of democracy and the welfare state.
