The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, visited the amphibious assault ship ‘Castilla’ that is docked at the pier Calvo Sotelo, in the port of A Coruña. During the visit he was accompanied by the Vice Admiral, Commander of the High Availability Maritime Headquarters, Juan Bautista Pérez Puig, in charge of the command of the ship.
Rivas took advantage of the visit to the ship to congratulate both the students and the professionals who work in it and to wish them, all of them, encouragement in their practical training.
The vessel Castilla docked next to the frigate Santa María and the fishing cooperation school vessel Intermares. The group formed by the three ships of the Navy carry on board a total of two hundred students of the Naval Military School who will perform various exercises and maneuvers at sea until July, month in which future and future officers of the Navy will finish their practices.
