The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, today exemplified in the polygon of Agrela, in A Coruña, the model of success of the industry in Galicia, “capable of generating wealth and well-being”. It did so at the ceremony of the renewal of the Quality Mark of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Agrela, in which the mayor of A Coruña, Inés Rey, and the vice-president of the Association, Joan Vidal, among other authorities, participated.
Pedro Blanco highlighted the investment of more than 2 billion euros of the Government in the productive fabric of Galicia to revitalize its modernization and reindustrialization, highlighting the importance of the economic contributions of the Government to underpin the leadership of Galician companies in Spanish modernity and avant-garde.
The delegate highlighted the common road map of the Government and Galician companies to continue advancing in this task and highlighted the need for public-private collaboration, “key to our future as a society”. In that sense, he appealed to the joint capacity of public and private entities to “generate an industry that produces, but also expands rights, building a stronger Galicia and progress”. Not only in the social field did Pedro Blanco stop, but also in the purely economic field, emphasizing the common objective of producing wealth and employment for Galicia and for the Galicians and Galicians.
The delegate congratulated and encouraged the Agrela business community to continue working on these tasks and highlighted its commitment to quality, “which has been an engine of economic development for Coruña for fifty years, consolidating itself as an example for the Galician productive fabric and improving the daily life of 14,000 families in the metropolitan area of Coruña through employment”.
Agrela, ‘Quality Business Estate’
In November 2017, the Business Park of Agrela received the badge ‘Quality Business Estate’, the first and only quality standard defined at European level that is granted by the Spanish Coordinator of Business Estates (CEPE), in partnership with AENOR. This recognition means for the polygon to comply with a series of standards that certify the quality of the areas of economic activity as spaces of value and wealth generation for the territory.
In this way, the Coruña business park became the third polygon in Spain to achieve this quality certification and the first in Galicia, also the only one so far. This recognition was achieved by the constant work of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Agrela in collaboration with the Public Administrations, which resulted in an improvement in the quality of the environment of the companies of the park and also of the neighbors and neighbors of the area.
