The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, said goodbye this morning to the Chief Commissioner of Ferrol-Narón, Javier Mª de Loresecha, who in the next few days will move to second activity. María Rivas highlighted her career and thanked her for her work and commitment "fundamental for the safety and well-being of the neighbors of Ferrol and Narón".
He recalled the Government's commitment to the security and well-being of Galicia, one of the safest autonomous communities in Spain, "a goal that helps us achieve men and women like Javier Mª de Loresecha, to whom I wish the best in his new professional stage".
Born in Santiago de Compostela, he joined the National Police in 1992, being promoted to inspector only six years later. Throughout his more than thirty years in the body, he served in Madrid, Vigo and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In addition, from 2018 to 2022, he was responsible for the Local Brigade of the Judicial Police of the Vigo-Redonda Police Station. Now, after two years as Chief Commissioner of Ferrol-Narón, he moves on to second activity.
