The deputy delegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, held a meeting with the official delegation of the Republic of the Congo, headed by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kaba-Mboko Prince Michrist, and the municipal and departmental councilor Kouloumbou Bouanga Jule Pauldi. The meeting was held within the framework of the institutional mission organized by the City of Negueira de Muñiz, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
During the meeting, Isabel Rodríguez highlighted the public policies developed in Spain to promote youth employability and social entrepreneurship, as well as the training of different health specialties. He also stressed the importance of sport as a tool for inclusion and social cohesion, as well as the fundamental role of youth associations in promoting citizen participation and intergenerational dialogue.
The Congolese delegation showed particular interest in getting to know first-hand the training and innovation programs that are being promoted by public administrations, with the aim of applying good practices that favor the development of youth in their country.
This official mission is part of an agenda of strategic meetings of the Congolese delegation in Spain, which includes institutional meetings and visits to reference centers in Galicia and other communities, to promote the exchange of experiences and strengthen international cooperation ties in the field of youth and sport.
