The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, recalled in Mazaricos that 100% of the province is covered with internet via satellite, “which represents a fulfilled commitment of the Government with the rural Coruñés”. The deputy delegate met in Mazaricos with its mayor, Juan José Blanco Riveiro, to analyze the investments that the Government of Spain has made in the municipality and continue to deepen its improvement with more advances, “from cooperation and demonstrating that the action of the Government reaches all places of the country”, in the words of the deputy delegate.
María Rivas stressed the Government’s policies focused on the rural, “which seek to guarantee access to the same opportunities that the neighbors of the cities have.” This commitment of the Government will show in the most different ways, with initiatives such as the ‘Administration near you’, with which we try to bring the services of the General Administration of the State closer to the citizenship of the municipalities with a smaller population; or the commissioning of the VIDOCs of the National Police that allow the renewal of identity documents, among other procedures and that will be providing service in Mazaricos on May 8 and 9; until the investments to guarantee access to the adequate internet network in any town.
In this regard, the subdelegate took the opportunity to remind the neighborhood that it can request its access to the Internet through satellite systems, enabled in areas where the connection does not arrive in another way and that guarantee a reliable and secure connection to the network. “This service, which is part of the UNICO Program, guarantees territorial cohesion through the funds of the Government’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan,” said María Rivas.
The subdelegate stressed that all these investments are making Mazaricos a better place. “We do it with transparency, dialogue and institutional collaboration as we do with the city of Mazaricos,” said Rivas.
The action of the Government in this town also translates into the promotion of equality policies through the Viogen State Pact or the attribution to you for the improvement of energy efficiency, an area in which the Government comes from investing about 640,000 euros for the renewal of all its public lighting, works that have already been carried out and that citizens can enjoy in their daily lives.
